More then 85 years ago, artist and writer Johnny Gruelle turned an old-fashioned rag doll into a special gift for his daughter. He added bright buttons for eyes, drew on a big smile, and created–Raggedy Ann! Raggedy Andy soon followed, along with wonderful stories. Now a gift for one child has become a treasure for millions.
