In 1958, Harley-Davidson added rear suspension to its Big Twin touring bike and introduced “The Glad Ride, the Glide Ride.”
The unique color scheme on this highly detailed ornament reflects an experimental treatment. Although it was not offered as a production option in 1958, it does appear on a 1958 Duo-Glide in the company’s archives.
