20th in the LIONEL Trains series. Wheels turn. Die-cast metal. In 1972, the Chessie System Locomotive burst onto the railroad scene in grand style. Famous for its daring modern paint schemes, the steam-powered passenger train barnstormed along the rails and drew large trackside crowds anxious for a look. This LIONEL ornament pays tribute to this unique train. This ornament was first available during the 2015 Hallmark Premiere Event, July 11, 2015.
