Description
With sculptured wings and barely a straight line, the G17S marked the end of a long line of stylish biplane designs from Walter Beech. Nicknamed the “Staggerwing,” its upper wing was set behind the lower, providing aerodynamic and engineering advantages and better visibility for the pilot. Models were produced from 1933 to 1946 and utilized in business, military, racing and sport flying. This finely detailed replica is sixth in the series of historic aircraft.
