Description
Rectangular cases with zip-open tops were known as travel pals or train cases.
Fashions on this 1961 travel pal resembled – but were not exact reproductions of – Golden Girl, Plantation Belle, Cotton Casual, Resort Set, Apple Print Sheath, and Cruise Stripes.
The Barbie name and two dresses appeared in blue on this case but were golden in color on another version.
This set of Keepsake Ornaments includes the travel pal and four miniature ornaments – Barbie signature charm, a pair of shoes, a purse, and a pair of sunglasses.
The case has a working zipper!
