Description
A unique ornament – Recalls the first manned, powered vehicle to travel on the surface of the moon. Telecasts of the astronauts’ bouncy ride across the lunar landscape resulted in a nickname for the LRV – “moon buggy.” Designed for speeds up to 10 mph, the lightweight, no-frills vehicle was powered by a small motor inside each of its four mesh wheels. 4th in the Journeys Into Space series.
