Description
When the Cadillac Coupe deVille debuted in 1949, it was voted Motor Trend magazine’s first “Car of the Year.” Innovative and luxurious, the ’49 deVille is considered one of the most beautiful production Cadillacs ever built. Its overhead value V-8 engine was heralded as “one of the greatest engine advancements in 45 years.” The smooth, flowing lines of the pillarless two-door design were accented by the sophisticated color scheme, a light French Gray body with a dark Gunmetal Gray hardtop.
Only 2,150 were built, and one was the one-millionth Cadillac produced since the elite libe began in 1902.
