Description
St. Nicholas, Santa Claus, Kris Kringle, Pere Noel, Father Christmas. His name and appearance may vary from country to country, but he is a welcome celebrity wherever he goes. Often pictured wearing a long, warm coat, he is a kindly figure who represents the tradition of gift giving. As featured in this ornament, Father Christmas carries a scroll with the message “Act gently and be at peace with the world … for this is the spirit of Christmas.”
This repainted (colorway) version of the first ornament in the Father Christmas series was issued in limited quantities and first available at the 2007 Keepsake Ornament Debut event in October 2007.
