1999 Lionel #4 – 746 Norfolk and Western Steam Locomotive

Description

Readily identified by its bullet nose and the bold burgundy band that extended from the front of the locomotive to the back of the tender, the powerful N&W “J” class electric train set was an action-packed version of a freight train that roared through the Appalachian Mountains.

Introduced by LIONEL in 1957, the mighty Norfolk and Western 16-wheeler locomotive is the 1999 entry in this series of Keepsake Ornaments.
